A Profoundly Unique Approach

Liberty's success rests on three pillars:
  • Academic Rigor
  • Classical Tradition
  • Christian Worldview
No other area school offers your child all three, perfectly balanced and working together.

Academic Rigor

A challenging, college-preparatory curricula should be available to more than just the gifted student.   When the right approach is used, most children achieve more than they ever dreamed was possible!

That's why we use a time-tested, proven method called "classical" education.  Of course, classical education covers the basics, but it's much more than core knowledge.

The classical approach teaches children how to think and learn on their own.

Classical Tradition

Let us be clear:  a classical education at Liberty is not heady, dry or elite.  Yes, it takes a little thought to understand, but that's because it's so carefully thought-out, so rich in content.

In short, classical education:

  • Teaches according to the natural stages of children's cognitive development.  (See Trivium.)
  • Nourishes the student's mind with classic content.  (See Curriculum.)
  • Uses Latin to develop higher-order thinking skills.
  • Brings learning to life with Liberty's one-of-a-kind Historical Framework.

Christian Worldview

Any Christian education is incomplete unless it acknowledges God as the author of all knowledge and truth.  This way of looking at the world -- the Christian worldview -- is integrated into every subject and every class period.

We're careful to teach the Christian worldview in a nonsectarian manner, so families from many Christian traditions feel comfortable at Liberty.  (See Statement of Faith).

Independent, and therefore free to pursue our mission, Liberty Classical Academy has started strong -- and the future looks bright.  (See Past, Present, Future).
